People who knows me very well surely knows that I love buffets! That is why I couldn’t say no when Cabalen invited me for a buffet dinner for their 30th anniversary celebration. And of course, I got a special treat for you at the end of this post. :)
Cabalen started in 1974 in San Fernando, Pampanga as a small Bahay Pasalubong Restaurant until it grew into a restaurant called “Ituro Mo, Iluto Ko.” In 1986, the first Cabalen Eat-all-you-Can, Eat-all-you-Want Restaurant was opened in Quezon City that expanded to more outlets nationwide until it became the most popular buffet restaurant in the Philippines.
I’ve been to two Cabalen branches before: Pampanga and Glorietta. Gerald and I had a very good meal with those branches just like with our third one, in Megamall. You could already say it is one of our favorites for dining in 3 out of their 28 branches. Haha However, this is our first time to try the Fil-Asian buffet so it’s quite new to us.
Cabalen’s Affordable Filipino-Asian Buffet
We’re a little surprised why there are sushis on the table until we discovered that Cabalen is introducing the Filipino-Asian buffet where they incorporate other Asian cuisines aside from Filipino cuisine.
It is currently available in three branches: SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and Robinsons Place Manila. For only Php 398, you get to experience more cuisines!
If you want to enjoy just the Filipino food, they have an available All Filipino buffet for only Php 298.

Wide Variety of Food to Choose From
I got confused for a minute on where to go first because there are a lot of food to choose from! How can I put them all in one plate? Answer: It’s impossible! I had three to four plates to try them all! Hahaha
