Three Ideas When to Use HotelQuickly

Having traveled to different provinces in the country last year, I noticed that one of the challenges I encounter is booking for accommodation. Though it is advisable to book ahead of time, there are certain situations when you have to book last-minute.

With HotelQuickly, I don’t need to worry about accommodation anymore. With only a few taps, I can easily book for a room to stay anywhere in the Philippines and other countries, even if it’s a last-minute booking!

Here are three situations that I find the app really useful, and these could also pass as ideas when you actually want to try and use it.

  1. Spontaneous, last-minute getaways

I have proven that spontaneous getaways are more challenging but you can’t spoil the fun just because you can’t find an accommodation. Last-minute bookings are available!

  2. Delayed and cancelled flights

We all know that it’s a common thing for the flights to be delayed or worse, cancelled, especially here in the Philippines. Sometimes airlines are not liable for this inconvenience, so instead of waiting in the airport, why not book a room in a hotel? Staying in a hotel is more comfortable and convenient than spending hours in the airport.

  3. Staycations in the city

Are you feeling tired and stress of work lately and you just want to take a break but you don’t have any vacation planned out yet? Staycations are one of the best way to relax without having worrying about your itinerary!

What is HotelQuickly?

This is my first time to visit your blog and I have fun reading your entries :) Thanks for sharing this information on HotelQuickly. I’m going to download it later (when there’s wifi cos I’m about to use all my data plan mb). The timing is perfect cos I’m planning to do staycation with my husband but not sure whether this will go through or not.

Thanks for the head’s up! I always book through sites that I have tried before. Your promo code would come in handy one day. Does it have an expiration date?

    1. Reply

I don’t think it has a expiration date, so feel free to use it anytime :)

I think this is a very useful app. You know, we’re so into last minute bookings or biglaang lakad so I find this app very useful for me since I’m usually in charge of bookings and payments during family trips. This might come very handy this coming Holy Week when my mom will suddenly ask me to look for a place to stay if ever she suddenly decide to drive to Tagaytay since that’s the closest place to go. Thanks!

Tagaytay also comes to my mind. Dun ang pinakamalapit na masarap magstaycation ng biglaan. Haha

I tend to be a planner and give myself a few weeks to plan a trip, even my “spontaneous” ones haha. Spontaneous to me is like a week advance, but I think this app would be great for any last-minute changes if my booked room ever falls through! I’ve also had to deal with delated and cancelled flights before, so this app would help in finding a place to stay.

    1. Reply

I think a week advance is still spontaneous, because it’s really hard to book a room in that situation. I’ve also tried that, but the most spontaneous I had I thin was three days before. Haha. And yes, this app helps with last-minute bookings!

I’ve been travelling spontaneously lately. This would be such a useful app. Thanks for sharing this! ;)

Now, this is a faster way to get the best deals when it comes to hotels. It can really be useful on those impulse getaways or sudden change of travel plans.

    1. Reply

It truly is! The rates are much cheaper in the app :)

Thanks for introducing this app. I will need this kind of app for those sudden breaks when all the members of the family are complete and in the mood for a spontaneous staycation. The choices you’ve shown are also very reasonable.

    1. Reply

Wish you have a good staycation with your family :)

Very nice rooms and good prices too, it is worth, thank you.

I also have an account in HotelQuickly and how I wish that I get to experience a free staycation to any hotel like what my blogger friends have tried before. Unfortunately, I still have a small amount of credits. :(

    1. Reply

You should use the credits soon, since they have expiry date. And based on experience, the credits don’t add up, so it’s useless to save all the credits :(

oh tell me about it. i hate delayed/cancelled flights. they’re just pain in the you know what!
thanks for sharing about this app. and their’s a coupon code, too! sweet!

    1. Reply

Yes! Nakakainis talaga yung delayed/cancelled flights! Hassle kaya maghintay sa airport. Haha

This is good. I’ve been caught up on last minute booking previously and it does cost a lot! This might help (if ever, though I’m not wishing) if I get emergency bookings. :) This is a good share. Hotelquickly is new to me. I often use Agoda.

I’ve never heard of Hotel Quickly before now and wonder if it’s international. Can I use it here in the US? I would love to take advantage of a staycation.

    1. Reply

I don’t think it’s available in the US yet. But maybe you might go around Southeast Asia, you can use it :)

  18. Reply

Beh, this app is very useful, mostly to those who wanted discounted rates on nice hotels.
