Color Manila Glitter Run: Our First Run Together

It was a colorful, glittery and foamy experience for our first run together. Color Manila Run definitely gives you a one of a kind running experience!

Gerald and I may be together for years now, but we still have a lot of “firsts” to try and that includes joining a fun run. I participated in fun runs before, as well as Gerald, but this is our first time to run together.

I know I am not physically fit for marathons but what I like about Color Manila is it’s not a timed run so there’s no pressure running to the finish line as fast as you can. They let you take your time in running and taking photos with friends! As for me, I walked and ran my way to the finish line while Gerald was enjoying documenting the experience. Haha.

Another thing that makes this different from the fun runs I’ve joined before is that Color Manila literally puts color on you! There are color stations where you can play with colored powders! No worries because there are sunglasses provided to protect your eyes and make sure you close your mouth so you don’t eat any powder. Haha.

At the finish line, there’s a foamy station where you can also play around. I didn’t take much time there because I already want to eat and drink something. Haha. We got our medals as well, which I just realized I didn’t take photos of! Haha

We also got access to the backstage so we had an amazing view of the very energetic crowd!

I’ve always wanted to join Color Manila Run before but never had the chance until now. I am very grateful for the amazing opportunity to finally join Color Manila Run. I am looking forward to join one of their events again!

It’s your turn!

  • Have you joined a Color Manila Run event? How was your experience?
  • Among all the Color Manila Run events, which would you like to try? Do you want to also try CM Glitter Run?
